There was an upset in Mikawa where one of their biggest challengers Yokohama BC (4-5) was defeated by eighth ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (3-4) 82-67 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 14-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-67. Yokohama BC was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated also this game.
