Very predictable result in Kloszko where first ranked Slask II W. (6-1) defeated 12th ranked Nysa Klodzko (2-5) 83-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Slask II W.. Nysa Klodzko was better in second period 23-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 31-of-35 free shots (88.6 percent) during the game, while Nysa Klodzko only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Slask II W. forced 26 Nysa Klodzko turnovers and outrebounded them 39-26 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Miroslaw Lopatka (213-77, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Radoslaw Hyzy (203-77) helped adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side forward Jakub Gadomski (202-87, college: USC Aiken) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Marcin Sterenga (201-78) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Slask II W. maintains first place in Group B with 6-1 record. Nysa Klodzko lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. Slask II W. will face UMKS Piotrc. (#14) in Piotrkow in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Nysa Klodzko will play on the road against Alba Chorzow.
