The game in Trondheim supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Gimle (3-2) played at the court of 6th ranked NTNUI Basket (1-7). Gimle did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 65-46. The game without a history. Gimle led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 32 NTNUI Basket turnovers. Strangely NTNUI Basket outrebounded Gimle 52-34 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Bulgarian forward Rositsa Ilieva (175-87) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals. point guard Amanda Gran (174-93) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Forward Charlene Gris replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Kaja Krogh (178-91) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for NTNUI Basket. NTNUI Basket's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Gimle moved-up to third place, which they share with Ammerud. NTNUI Basket lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Gimle's next round opponent will be Oslo Tigers (#5) at home. NTNUI Basket will play against the league's second-placed Ullern in Oslo.
