Very expected game when 9th ranked Banco di Sard. (2-3) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Air Avellino (4-1) 96-79 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Air Avellino. Banco di Sard. was better in third quarter 26-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Air Avellino forced 22 Banco di Sard. turnovers.
