The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Wuber-Est.Bahia (8-3) in Buenos Aires on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by sixth ranked Lanus (6-6) 75-73. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Wuber-Est.Bahia. Wuber-Est.Bahia cut a 17-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Terrell Taylor (203-81, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Dream Team Management) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 9 rebounds and Panamanian power forward Jamaal Levy (206-83, college: Wake Forest, agency: Priority Sports) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Puerto Rican power forward Ricardo Sanchez (212-87) with 19 points and American-Puerto Rican guard Javier Mojica (190-84, college: Cent.Conn.St., agency: Alti Sport) scored 20 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line).
