The game in Galil supposed to be also worth to mention about. One of their biggest challengers Hapoel Holon (2-2) played at the court of eighth ranked Galil Gilboa (2-2). Galil Gilboa smashed Hapoel Holon 85-61. It looked good early as Hapoel Holon took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Galil Gilboa had a 23-12 second period charge getting the lead and Hapoel Holon was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 61-85. Galil Gilboa made 18-of-19 charity shots (94.7 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for American Romeo Travis (200-84, college: Akron) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 rebounds. Galil Gilboa's coach Lior Lubin felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Moran Roth (183-82) replied with 17 points and 6 assists and American power forward Bryant Dunston (202-86) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel Holon. Galil Gilboa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hapoel J-M and Hapoel Holon. Galil Gilboa's next round opponent will be higher ranked Maccabi Rishon (#3) in Rishon Le-Zion and it may be quite challenging game. Hapoel Holon will play at home against the league's second-placed Ironi Ashkelon.
