The game in Galil supposed to be also worth to mention about. One of their biggest challengers Hapoel Holon (2-2) played at the court of eighth ranked Galil Gilboa (2-2). Galil Gilboa smashed Hapoel Holon 85-61. It looked good early as Hapoel Holon took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Galil Gilboa had a 23-12 second period charge getting the lead and Hapoel Holon was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 61-85. Galil Gilboa made 18-of-19 charity shots (94.7 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for American Romeo Travis (200-84, college: Akron) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 rebounds. International guard Dagan Yavzuri (193-85) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Five Galil Gilboa players scored in double figures. Galil Gilboa's coach Lior Lubin felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Moran Roth (183-82) replied with 17 points and 6 assists and American power forward Bryant Dunston (202-86) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel Holon. Galil Gilboa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hapoel J-M and Hapoel Holon. Galil Gilboa's next round opponent will be higher ranked Maccabi Rishon (#3) in Rishon Le-Zion and it may be quite challenging game. Hapoel Holon will play at home against the league's second-placed Ironi Ashkelon.
