The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Boras Basket as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Boras Basket smashed 4th placed Uppsala Basket at home 97-70. The game without a history. Boras Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Boras Basket outrebounded Uppsala Basket 42-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Uppsala Basket's players. The best player for the winners was Lebanese-American guard Omar Krayem (185-86, college: Cal.Baptist) who scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international center Michael Palm (208-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Five Boras Basket players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Australian guard Rhys Carter (190-84) who recorded 16 points and guard Rickard Eriksson (190-82) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boras Basket (7-2) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position.
