The game in Fjolnir supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Njardvik (4-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Fjolnir (2-4). Njardvik smashed Fjolnir 99-78. The game without a history. Njardvik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Shanae Baker-Brice (168-87, college: Towson) who led her team to a victory with 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import swingman Lele Hardy (178-88, college: Clemson, agency: Merit Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Four Njardvik players scored in double figures. Njardvik's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Britney Jones (170-87, college: UAB) replied with 40 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks and Australian Katina Mandylaris added 20 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Fjolnir. Njardvik maintains third position with 4-2 record behind leader Keflavik. Fjolnir lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with four games lost. Njardvik's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Valur (#8) in Reykjavik where they are favorite. Fjolnir will play on the road against Snaefell in Stykkisholmur and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
