Regular Season Round 3: Ulcinj - Levski Sofia 73-75

The most exciting game of round 3 in the Balkan League took place in Ulcijn. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 4th placed Montenegrin Ulcinj (1-2) to leader Bulgarian Levski Sofia (2-0) 75-73 on Wednesday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ulcinj won third quarter 17-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American swingman Aaron Harper (199-81, college: Mississippi, agency: Strategic Sports) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was center Dragomir Marojevic (207-81, agency: Global Sports Plaza) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and guard Milos Djurisic (194-88) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Levski Sofia keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Ulcinj at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Levski Sofia is looking forward to face Napredak Rubin (#4) in Krusevac in the next round. Ulcinj will play on the road against the league's leader Hapoel Tel-Aviv and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
