Top ranked Melbourne Tigers (5-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Townsville Crocodiles (3-2) in overtime 95-88. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Melbourne Tigers. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 19-16 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 7-point victory in overtime. Townsville Crocodiles made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game.
