There was no surprise when 7th ranked Salon Vilpas (5-7) lost at home to fifth ranked Kauhajoen Karhu (7-4) 93-84 on Friday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 45-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kauhajoen Karhu made 7 blocks. Salon Vilpas was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game.
