Very important is a road loss of third ranked Voyageurs (1-1) against leader Lancers (2-0) on Friday night. Visiting Voyageurs were defeated by Lancers in a tough game in Windsor, ON 81-86. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Lancers forced 23 Voyageurs turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for guard Enrico Diloreto (186-90) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Guard Josh Collins (186-90) accounted for 15 points, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Four Lancers players scored in double figures. Guard Manny Pasquale (183) came up with 29 points and 7 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and Alex Ratte added 15 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for Voyageurs in the defeat. Voyageurs' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lancers keep a position of league leader, which they share with 7 other teams. Loser Voyageurs dropped to the second place with one game lost. They share the position with 6 other teams. Lancers will meet at home Lions (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Voyageurs will play against Mustangs (#8) in London, ON.
