Regular Season Round 10: Fukuoka Rizing - Takamatsu FA 86-78

Bottom-ranked Takamatsu FA is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fifth ranked Fukuoka Rizing (5-4) 86-78 on Friday evening. The game without a history. Fukuoka Rizing led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American players dominated the game. Swingman Kevin Palmer (198-87, college: Texas A&M - C.C., agency: VVG Sports) notched 36 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL) supported him with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Fukuoka Rizing's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds by power forward Paul Butorac (208-83, college: E.Washington) did not help to save the game for Takamatsu FA. Forward Michael Nunnally (203-86, college: Pacific) added 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Four Takamatsu FA players scored in double figures. Fukuoka Rizing have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 5-4 record. Loser Takamatsu FA still closes the standings with nine games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will again meet at home Takamatsu FA (#9) in the next round. Takamatsu FA will have a break next round.
