Rather expected game in Oslo where 6th ranked NTNUI Basket (1-9) was crushed by third ranked Ammerud (4-2) 61-28. The game without a history. Ammerud led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NTNUI Basket to just 3 points in third quarter and to 12 points in second half. Ammerud held NTNUI Basket to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Ammerud forced 28 NTNUI Basket turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Kristina Kraage (177-87) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. International center Tina Nesse (184-84) accounted for 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Ammerud's coach Patxi Exposito felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Ammerud maintains third place with 4-2 record having five points less than leader Ulriken. NTNUI Basket lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Ammerud will play against Gimle (#4) in Bergen in the next round. NTNUI Basket will have a break next round.
