Regular Season Round 8: T71 - Heffingen 80-64

Diekirch League top team - T71 (7-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat tenth ranked Heffingen (0-8) in Dudelange 80-64. T71 forced 23 Heffingen turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international power forward Frank Muller (194-88, college: Cuesta JC) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds and international guard Tom Schumacher (190-87, college: Cal.Baptist) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. T71's coach Jan Enjebo allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward William Walker (201-87, college: Bethel (IN), agency: Warren Sports International) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 17 rebounds and forward Cedric Schroeder (200-83) scored 10 points. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-1 record. Newly promoted Heffingen still closes the standings with eight games lost. T71 will play against Musel Pikes (#6) in Stadrbredimus in the next round where they are favorite. Heffingen will play at home against Residence (#7) in Bereldange and hopes to get finally their first victory.
