Regular Season Round 7: Jarva Devils - BG Lulea 100-85

Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked BG Lulea (0-5) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Jarva Devils (2-3) 100-85 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Jarva Devils. BG Lulea was better in third quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Jarva Devils forced 20 BG Lulea turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Binyam Feghadu (195-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists. Naturalized Argentinian guard Rafael Carbone (192-89) helped adding 11 points. Four Jarva Devils players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Johan Stenberg (189-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and forward Karl Ohrner (196-93) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jarva Devils moved-up to seventh place in North. BG Lulea lost their fifth game in a row. They still closes the standings with five games lost. Jarva Devils will face league's leader LF Future in Lulea in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
