Very expected game when bottom-ranked Tigers (0-2) lost to top-ranked X-Men (2-0) in Halifax, NS 71-85 on Saturday. The game without a history. X-Men led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a very good performance for guard Terry Thomas (193) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Jeremy Dunn (198) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Bahamas forward Robert Nortmann (198) replied with 30 points and 9 rebounds and Ritchie Kanza Mata added 4 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Tigers. X-Men keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 8 other teams. Loser Tigers still closes the standings with two games lost. X-Men will face Axemen (#4) in Wolfville, NS in the next round. Tigers will play on the road against Capers in Sydney, NS and hope to get finally their first victory.
