The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Blues (1-1) in Toronto, ON. Hosts were defeated by Golden Hawks (2-0) 84-79. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 1-0 record before this meeting. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Maxwell Allin (193) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 9 rebounds and center Matthew Buckley (215) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Bosnian forward Drazen Glisic (198) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and center Andrew Wasik (201) scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Golden Hawks will play against Golden Gaels (#5) in Kingston, ON in the next round. Blues will play on the road against the league's second-placed Thunderwolves in Thunder Bay, ON and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
