Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Nysa Klodzko (2-6) was outplayed on the road by fourth ranked Alba Chorzow (6-2) 88-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. Alba Chorzow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Nysa Klodzko's 32. Alba Chorzow forced 29 Nysa Klodzko turnovers and had a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Marcin Weselak (204-79) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Tomasz Gembus (198-87) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Alba Chorzow players scored in double figures. point guard Michal Lipinski (184-86) produced 16 points and 4 steals and center Rafal Ulrich (208-77) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alba Chorzow have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Pogon Prudnik and BM Wegiel Stal. Nysa Klodzko lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. Alba Chorzow will face UMKS Piotrc. (#14) in Piotrkow in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Nysa Klodzko will play at home against AZS AWF K-ce in Katowice.
