Regular Season Round 8: Moycullen - UCD Marian 65-84

An interesting game for UCD Marian (4-3) which played road game in Moycullen against 4th ranked Moycullen (2-6). Third ranked UCD Marian had an easy win 84-65. UCD Marian dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Moycullen's 36 and had 22 for 34 from the free-throw line, while Moycullen only scored three points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Donnie Stith (201-85, college: Tulane, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds and guard Conor Meany (185-86) who added 8 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American forward Luke Enos (201, college: Black Hills St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and guard Dylan Cunningham (195-91) scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UCD Marian moved-up to second place, which they share with B.Gais Neptune. Moycullen at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. UCD Marian will play against league's second-placed B.Gais Neptune in Cork in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Moycullen will play on the road against the league's leader DCU Saints in Dublin and hopes to get back on the winning track.
