Everything went according to plan in Mikawa where fifth ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (5-4) beat 9th ranked Saitama Broncos (3-6) 87-75 on Saturday. The game without a history. Hamamatsu Phoenix led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for guard Jermaine Dixon (191-87, college: Pittsburgh, agency: VVG Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic, agency: Dynamics Global Management) helped adding 14 points and 15 rebounds. Hamamatsu Phoenix's coach Ryuji Kawai allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Swingman John Humphrey (188-80, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Court Side) responded with 23 points and 9 rebounds and forward John Flowers (200-89, college: W.Virginia, agency: KMG Sports Management) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Hamamatsu Phoenix have a solid series of four victories in a row.
