Regular Season Round 7: Eos - Solna Branten 89-79

IK Eos has finally registered their first victory this season after three consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Solna Branten (2-2) 89-79 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by IK Eos. Solna Branten was better in fourth quarter 33-28. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. IK Eos forced 19 Solna Branten turnovers. Solna Branten was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Adnan Karovic (187-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Forward Taino Bendz (191-88) helped adding 12 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Joeffrey Masabe (-90) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Jesper Eliassson (-94) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. IK Eos maintains ninth place in South with 1-3 record. Loser Solna Branten dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. IK Eos will face Norrkoping BK (#12) on the road in the next round.
