An interesting game for Sparta (6-2) which hosted in Bertrange second-ranked Basket Esch (5-3). Third ranked Sparta had an easy win 108-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Basket Esch. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Sparta made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Sparta have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Etzella. Basket Esch at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Amicale. Sparta is looking forward to face Amicale (#5) in Steinsel in the next round. Basket Esch will play at home against BBC Nitia in Bettembourg and is hoping to win this game.
