Date: November 12, 2011
Bottom-ranked Inea AZS is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to tenth ranked Tecza Leszno (3-5) 65-48 on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Tecza Leszno. Inea AZS managed to win third quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tecza Leszno had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Mali power forward Djenebou Sissoko (190-82, college: Union (TN)) who scored that evening 20 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Marke Freeman (165-88, college: N.Illinois) supported her with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Tecza Leszno players scored in double figures. Tecza Leszno's coach Dariusz Raczynski used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds by power forward Dorota Mistygacz (183-92) did not help to save the game for Inea AZS. Guard Magdalena Gawronska (168-83, agency: Promotex) added 11 points for the hosts. Tecza Leszno moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Energa Torun. Loser Inea AZS still closes the standings with eight games lost. Tecza Leszno will meet at home league's second-placed Wisla Can-Pak in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Inea AZS will play against ROW Rybnik (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
