The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Barca Regal II as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Barca Regal II defeated 9th ranked Las Rozas in Barcelona 82-66. The game was mostly controlled by Barca Regal II. Las Rozas managed to win second period 25-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Barca Regal II had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Senegalese center Papa Mbaye (209-90) scored 9 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Joan Creus (185-92) chipped in 9 points and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Jose Balmon (204-81) with 7 points and 11 rebounds and American swingman Nick Wolf (198-88, college: Rollins, agency: KMG Sports Management) scored 15 points.
