Regular Season Round 7: Hogsbo - Norrkoping BK 77-56

No shocking result in a game in Goteborg where eighth ranked Hogsbo (3-3) outleveled bottom-ranked Norrkoping BK (0-5) 77-56 on Sunday. The game without a history. Hogsbo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 21 Norrkoping BK turnovers and outrebounded them 45-22 including a 33-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for center Robert Isaksson (202-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Anton Bergang (200-93) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Niklas Rydgren (-88) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Caleb Musie (168-95) scored 9 points and 4 steals. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hogsbo moved-up to sixth place in South. Norrkoping BK lost their fifth game in a row. They still closes the standings with five games lost. Hogsbo will face league's second-placed Nassjo on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Norrkoping BK will play against IK Eos (#9) in Lund and hopes to get finally their first victory.
