Very expected game when 9th ranked KTP-Basket (4-7) lost on the road to fifth ranked Tampereen Pyrinto (7-3) 100-83. KTP-Basket was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 57-36 second half run of Tampereen Pyrinto. They outrebounded KTP-Basket 47-34 including 35 on the defensive glass. KTP-Basket was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Antwine Williams (192-75, college: N.Colorado, agency: Prossin Sports Management) stepped up and scored 24 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Damon Williams (201-73, college: Colorado St.-Pueblo) chipped in 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American forward Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Bahamas forward Bennet Davis (206-84, college: Northeastern, agency: KMG Sports Management) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. KTP-Basket lost their fourth game in a row.
