There was a minor upset when higher ranked Sigma Barcellona (3-4) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Tezenis Verona (3-4) 84-78. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sigma Barcellona won fourth quarter 33-30. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
