Regular Season Round 8: AZS Radex - MOSiR Krosno 75-72

A very close game took place in Szczecin between AZS Szczecin and MOSiR Krosno. Eighth ranked AZS Szczecin (4-3) got a very close home victory over 14th ranked MOSiR Krosno (1-7). AZS Szczecin managed to escape with a 3-point win 75-72 on Sunday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. AZS Szczecin's coach Zbigniew Majcherek used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Dariusz Oczkowicz (183-81) responded with 19 points and guard Piotr Pluta (192-81, agency: Court Side) scored 15 points. Five MOSiR Krosno players scored in double figures. AZS Szczecin moved-up to seventh place. MOSiR Krosno lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with seven games lost. AZS Szczecin will meet Rosa Radom (#8) on the road in the next round. MOSiR Krosno will play against AZS Kutno (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
