Very predictable result when fifth ranked Shinshu BW (6-4) beat on the road 10th ranked Iwate Big Bulls (1-9) 85-69 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Derek Raivio (190-84, college: Gonzaga, agency: Priority Sports) who scored 26 points and 4 assists. Forward Tyler Hughes (213-84, college: Kansas St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Four Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward LaShawn Malloy (209-84, college: New Orleans) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 22 rebounds and forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Global Sports Plaza) added 15 points respectively.
