Very predictable result when seventh ranked Talje Knights (2-4) defeated at home bottom-ranked BG Lulea (0-5) 85-80 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 48-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Talje Knights made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game, while BG Lulea only scored twelve points from the stripe. Talje Knights forced 19 BG Lulea turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. BG Lulea was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for point guard Filip Kovacek (180-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Power forward Jonathan Antonsson (202-92) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side guard Johan Stenberg (189-93) responded with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Karl Ohrner (196-93) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Talje Knights went down to eighth position (North) due to points difference. BG Lulea lost their fifth game in a row. They still closes the standings with five games lost. Talje Knights will face league's leader LF Future in Lulea in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
