Rather expected game when 16th ranked Vanoli-Braga (1-5) lost on the road to thirteenth ranked Lottomatica Roma (3-3) 85-78. Vanoli-Braga was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was international swingman Luigi Datome (202-87) who scored 19 points and 5 assists. The former international center Andrea Crosariol (212-84, college: Fairleigh Dickinson) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Von Wafer (196-85, college: Florida St., agency: VVG Sports) who recorded 25 points and 4 assists and Belgian point guard Beye Tabu-Eboma (190-85) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lottomatica Roma moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with CS Bologna. Vanoli-Braga lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with five games lost. Lottomatica Roma's next round opponent will be Banco di Sard. (#13) in Sassari. Vanoli-Braga will play on the road against Banca Tercas in Teramo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
