Bottom-ranked Sportino is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to sixth ranked MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza (6-3) 82-51. The game without a history. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Sportino's 26. They outrebounded Sportino 45-25 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. Point guard Lukasz Szczypka (185-80) stepped up and scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and forward Michal Woloszyn (202-84) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was power forward Maciej Strzelecki (204-87) with 14 points and the former international guard Grzegorz Kukielka (192-83) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza. They moved-up to fifth place. Sportino lost their eighth game in a row. They still closes the standings with eight games lost. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play against higher ranked Spojnia (#4) in Stargard in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sportino will play on the road against MKS Znicz Basket (#6) in Pruszkow and hopes to get finally their first victory.
