Regular Season Round 9: Rosa Radom - AZS Radex 77-57

The game in Radom supposed to be also quite interesting. 7th ranked AZS Szczecin (4-4) played at the court of eighth ranked Rosa Radom (5-4). Rosa Radom did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 77-57 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Rosa Radom. AZS Szczecin managed to win third quarter 18-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rosa Radom made 7 blocks. Guard Artur Donigiewicz (185-84) nailed 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and guard Jakub Zalewski (183-86) accounted for 16 points. Swingman Krzysztof Mielczarek (198-81) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 20 rebounds and guard Lukasz Pacocha (182-82, agency: Promotex) added 22 points and 7 rebounds respectively for AZS Szczecin in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rosa Radom moved-up to seventh place. Loser AZS Szczecin dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with SKK Siedlce. Rosa Radom will meet AZS Kutno (#10) on the road in the next round. AZS Szczecin will play against Sudety in Jelenia Gora and hope to secure a win.
