Very important is a home loss of second ranked Kutaisi (4-2) against seventh ranked MIA (3-3) on Friday night. Host Kutaisi was crushed by MIA in Kutaisi 96-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kutaisi. Kutaisi was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. MIA dominated on the defensive end, holding Kutaisi to just 6 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Kutaisi's 36. They outrebounded Kutaisi 48-34 including 23 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for American guard Larry Blair (183-84, college: Liberty, agency: Pro One Sports) who led his team to a victory with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import forward Tracy Smith (203, college: N.Carolina St., agency: Strategic Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winners.
