The game between Top Four teams took place in Rakvere. Second-ranked host BC Rakvere (5-3) was smashed by second ranked Kalev/Cramo (5-1) 83-58. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of BC Rakvere. The game without a history. Kalev/Cramo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to BC Rakvere's 26. BC Rakvere was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by international guard Gert Dorbek (194-85) who scored that evening 20 points and international guard Reimo Tamm (185-84) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Even 15 points and 9 rebounds by Latvian center Kaspars Cipruss (210-82, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for BC Rakvere. Latvian swingman Juris Umbrasko (197-79) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kalev/Cramo have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 5-1 record having just three points less than leader Tartu Ulikool. BC Rakvere at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. Kalev/Cramo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BC Rakvere will play at home against KK Parnu and hopes to get back on the winning track.
