There was no surprise when 7th ranked Trefl II Sopot (3-5) lost at home to second ranked Astoria Bydg. (7-1) 93-77 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Astoria Bydg.. Trefl II Sopot was better in fourth quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Astoria Bydg. forced 22 Trefl II Sopot turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Astoria Bydg. made 11 blocks.
