Regular Season Round 6: Victoria - TRU 84-76

Very expected game when 8th ranked Wolfpack (2-4) lost to top-ranked Vikies (6-0) in Victoria, BC 76-84 on Saturday. The game without a history. Vikies led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for guard Ryan Mackinnon (193-89) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 5 assists. Michael Acheampong contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Vikies players scored in double figures. Justin King replied with 25 points and 9 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and guard Kevin Pribilsky (180) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Wolfpack. Vikies have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Wolfpack lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
