No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Golden Hawks (4-0) crushed bottom-ranked RMC (0-4) in Waterloo, ON 130-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. Golden Hawks led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to RMC's 36. They outrebounded RMC 47-25 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Golden Hawks looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by RMC's players. It was a good game for center Patrick Donnelly (203) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Maxwell Allin (193) contributed with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Connor Duke (191) replied with 25 points and Nicholas Fowler added 20 points in the effort for RMC. Five Golden Hawks and four RMC players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Golden Hawks have a solid four-game winning streak.
