Third ranked Sparta (7-2) crushed at home 5th ranked Amicale (5-4) by 25 points 85-60, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Amicale. The game was mostly controlled by Sparta. Amicale was better in third quarter 13-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Amicale 39-26 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sparta brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. It was a good game for American point guard Kasey Ulin (184-82, college: Dickinson St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Sparta's next round opponent will be Soleuvre (#7) in Belvaux which should be theoretically another easy game. Amicale will play at home against Musel Pikes in Stadrbredimus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
