Regular Season Round 10: Langhus - Gimle BBK 66-102

Bottom-ranked Langhus IL is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 11th consecutive match to fourth ranked Gimle BBK (6-4) 102-66. The game was mostly controlled by Gimle BBK. Langhus IL was better in second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Langhus IL 53-37 including 19 on the offensive glass. Serbian guard Mladen Pavlovic (193) had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Anders Stien (195-90) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists during the contest. Gimle BBK's coach Brent Hackman felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard David Crouch (-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Terrance Randolph (180-71, college: Va Intermont) scored 13 points and 6 assists. Gimle BBK maintains fourth position with 6-4 record. Newly promoted Langhus IL still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Gimle BBK will play against league's second-placed Baerum Basket in Bekkestua in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Langhus IL will play on the road against Tromso (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
