There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Toyama Grouses (5-7) were rolled over on the road by ninth ranked Saitama Broncos (5-7) 93-74 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Saitama Broncos. Toyama Grouses was better in third quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Saitama Broncos forced 24 Toyama Grouses turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players.
