Umana Venezia (4-2) outlasted Angelico Biella (4-3) in overtime by four points 91-87 on Sunday night. The game took place in Biella. But the guests from Venezia were better at the end. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Angelico Biella. Angelico Biella trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 24-13 run in the last quarter tied the game at the end of regular time, But then they lost eventually overtime period 15-19. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Umana Venezia have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Scavolini PS. Angelico Biella at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Umana Venezia will face Cimberio Varese (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Angelico Biella will play against Benetton Treviso.
