Regular Season Round 9: MKS Limbach - UMKS Kielce 76-67

There was a small surprise when fourth ranked MKS Limbach (6-2) beat second-best UMKS Kielce (6-3) in Limanowa 76-67 on Sunday. It was a key game for the second position in Group C. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But UMKS Kielce won third quarter 19-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for forward Piotr Kwandrans (200-79) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 8 rebounds. point guard Piotr Kindlik (166-84) contributed with 7 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Forward Wojciech Miernik (194-88) answered with 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Lukasz Fafara (194-84) added 5 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for UMKS Kielce. UMKS Kielce's coach Rafal Gil rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. MKS Limbach have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place in Group C. UMKS Kielce at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. MKS Limbach will face UKS Siemaszka (#6) in Piekary in the next round. UMKS Kielce will play at home against Rosa II Radom.
