An exciting game was played in Minsk. Top-ranked Minsk-2006 faced 3rd ranked SBK Osipovichi. Host Minsk-2006 (6-0) smashed guests from Osipovichi (3-3) 93-69. The game without a history. Minsk-2006 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to SBK Osipovichi's 48. It was a good game for American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 7 rebounds. The former international center Aleh Kojenets (208-77, college: NC-Wilmington) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Minsk-2006's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Viachaslau Skidan (205-85) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds and guard Dmitriy Zaitsev (190-81) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for SBK Osipovichi. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Minsk-2006 have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-0 record. SBK Osipovichi at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
