The game with biggest result difference took place in Nova Ves. Local Nova Ves (9-5) beat 7th ranked Levice (5-9) 83-65. The game was mostly controlled by Nova Ves. Levice was better in third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nova Ves had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Andrew Jones (208-87, college: Penn St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Center Oto Ulman (205-90) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American forward Dominique Keller (203-88, college: Illinois) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Daniel Ilavsky (-87, agency: Promotex) added 5 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Levice. Levice's coach Frantisek Ron rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Nova Ves moved-up to second place. Levice lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Nova Ves will play against Vahostav-Zilina (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Levice will play against Komarno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
