The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Minsk-2006 (#1) and Minsk-2006 II (#6). Minsk-2006 (7-0) crushed visiting Minsk-2006 II (1-5) by 53 points 114-61. The game without a history. Minsk-2006 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Minsk-2006 II's 44. They also forced 24 Minsk-2006 II turnovers and had a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Minsk-2006 II's players. American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina) fired 27 points and 8 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international center Aleh Kojenets (208-77, college: NC-Wilmington) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Minsk-2006 players scored in double figures. Lithuanian forward Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Valentin Ignatchik (192) added 9 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Minsk-2006 have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. Minsk-2006 II lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with five games lost.
