The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Norrkoping Dolphins as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Norrkoping Dolphins defeated 5th ranked Uppsala Basket at home 78-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Uppsala Basket. Uppsala Basket was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 22-13 third quarter run of Norrkoping Dolphins. They made 22-of-25 charity shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Andrew Mitchell (181-79, college: Kent St.) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American-British forward Oladapo Ayuba (198-86, college: UMKC) contributed with 9 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Johan Jeansson (197-85) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Delvon Johnson (205-89, college: Arkansas, agency: Priority Sports) added 9 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Uppsala Basket. Four Uppsala Basket players scored in double figures. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Uppsala Basket at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Uppsala Basket will play next round against strong LF Basket trying to get back on the winning streak. Norrkoping Dolphins will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
