Regular Season Round 11: Roche - Reims 78-60

There was no surprise in La Roche where 13th ranked Reims (2-9) was defeated by ninth ranked Roche (6-5) 78-60. The game without a history. Roche led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Nadja Morgan (188-80) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Slovakian guard Gabriela Kubatova (171-84) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side. Four Roche players scored in double figures. Roche's coach Emmanuel Body allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Croatian power forward Iva Grbas (188-87) came up with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Mali center Astan Dabo (203-92) added 8 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Reims in the defeat. Roche moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Dunkerque and LTB 29. Reims at the other side dropped to the bottom position with nine games lost. Roche's next round opponent will be Limoges (#12) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game. Reims will play against Armentieres.
