There was a minor upset when higher ranked Panerythraikos (4-5) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Doxa Lefkadas (4-5) 67-62 on Saturday. Panerythraikos trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 19-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 62-67 at the end of the game. Doxa Lefkadas made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Panerythraikos turnovers. Serbian guard Marko Pekovic (193-81, agency: BeoExcell) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and guard Nikos Pettas (195-81) chipped in 18 points.
